The Friday Five

What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .

1. ...today? Running errands with my spouse and just 'hanging out' together. Usually, we'd both be working. So today's our play day! We were going to Disneyland to view the "tallest float in Rose Parade history." but, the rain and winds literally put a damper on those plans.

2. ...over the next week? Photo and blog challenges and creating new memories for 2004. I have four birthdays and a christening this month, so I'm already running!

3. ...this year? Don't know. I'm open to whatever the Creator brings me.

4. ...over the next five years? Don't know. I'm open to whatever the Creator brings me.

5. ...for the rest of your life? Don't know. I'm open to whatever the Creator brings me.

Daily Dirt

Happy New Year!!

1. Throw away ONE item from your wardrobe, what'll it be? A favorite blouse that's so worn, its material is thin - almost transparent!

2. Buy something from a supermarket, what'll it be? Mocha Mix for my hot tea.

3. Deposit money in your bank, how much will it be? $1,000.00 in my savings.

4. Call someone right now, who will it be? My mom. She's not feeling well and I want to make she's okay.

5. Say something to me right now, what'll it be? I've had a wonderful 2003 and am looking forward to an equally rewarding and fun 2004. I've completed the New Year's Eve 2003 photo project and enjoy participating. I hope there's another one in 2004.

I'm off to watch the 'Pirates of the Carribean' with audio commentary by Johnny Depp (woo hoo!) and the director.

Three for Thursday

1. Name 3 ((or more if you'd like)) new years resolutions.

- Lose weight

- Excercise three times weekly

- Spend more time with my mom

2. What 3 things would you like to do/like to go, this new year's?

- Have fun

- Celebrate with my spouse

- Be comfy and cozy

3. What 3 things do you like most about new years, and 3 things you dislike?

The three things I liked most were:

- The merriment

- For many, it's the one more occasion for the family to be together

- All the excellent music that abounds

The three things I liked least were:

- The presence of so much alcohol

- The increase in drunk driver-related accidents/deaths

- The increased prices for clubs and dinner

I'm participating in this years New Year's Eve 2003 photo project and I think it's a lot of fun. It's like hourly blogging your New Year's Eve and Day only with photos. If you have a digital camera, what are you waiting for? Come on, join the project and share. I'm sure my day hasn't been anymore exciting than yours. With the take off of reality TV, this as close as photo blogging gets!
