This cyclist carries a patio chair and bag like it's nothing.

If only I could easily ride a bike.

Top 5 On Friday
This week we have a different twist to the Top Five:

Top 5 Male Vocalists
(For each vocalist list one song or album that you feel is their best)

Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Luther Vandross Forever, for Always, for Love
John Legend Get Lifted
Rob Thomas Something to Be
Barry White Can't Get Enough
Al Green I'm Still in Love with You
Dave Matthews Stand

Yea, I surprised myself again...they're mostly love ballads. I dunno, maybe I'm turning soft or something. Hmmmm, I need to give my answers some thought. LOL

The Desktop Computer

I know you're dying for an update on the desktop computer I destroyed. The saga continues....on Tuesday spouse took the computer to work and had a friend look at it. Within ten minutes, Sami had it up and running - the CMOS became confused when I attempted to add the RAM and forgot its settings.

"So, did Sami add the RAM?"
Spouse: "No. Did you want him to?"
"Well, that is what started it. I need more RAM, especially as I'm working on photos."
Spouse: "Okay, I'll ask him. I'm sure it's no big deal."

Well, Sami had already left for the day, so it had to wait til Wednesday. Wednesday arrived and Sami didn't. He'd taken a day off. Thursday arrived and Sami didn't have time. By now I'm feeling awkward about asking Sami to add the RAM. Afterall, he did get it up and running and that was my original and sole request.

Spouse: "I'm sure he'll work on it tomorrow. Don't worry."
"I'm not worried. I just feel bad. I don't want to impose. If he doesn't get to it tomorrow, please bring it home. We'll just forget about the RAM."
Spouse: "You could try again, you know. You've added RAM, CDRWs, etc. to other computers."
"Uh yea, but this one's jinxed and I'm afraid of it now!"

So tomorrow will be the day. Either way, I'm just happy it's working, recognizing the hard drive (which has tons of photos on it and music) and I can synch my Palm i705 again. I'm like a week behind on my blog reading!! LOL

My Click

I'm feeling less geeky this week and more playful, so it's natural that I'd select Found Magazine. Folks from all over submit their latest interesting and most bizarre finds. We've all done it at least once; found that phone number with no name, a grocery list, photos of captured moments forgotten and lost.
