Boo and I went to Long Beach for drinks and dinner tonight. We were sipping apple martinis when Boo spotted smoke, the bar filled with an acrid odor and the place went black. The band continued setting up as their time was quickly approaching. In the distance we heard sirens and then realized they were for us!
