I live in Southern California and live the digital lifestyle. I love technology, engage in social networks and thanks to the Amazon Kindle enjoy reading again. I listen to many podcasts and am interested in the paranormal. I don't go ghost hunting or anything like that, but I love reading, viewing and listening to a great fright!

Take Me Back Tuesday
Let's go back in time...or maybe not ....to a time where you wanted to tell somebody something, but you didn't have the words...but later you heard a song...and it fit.
So here's this week's challenge:
Pick a person or a few people that you'd like to tell something in song. Tell us who they are...and what song you've chosen for them, and why.
Boo and I have so many songs that are the tapestry of our 27 years together, but one from our early days that I've never alluded to is The Stylistics You Make Feel Brand New. And it still holds true today.
Peanut I dedicate The O'Jays Back Stabbers to you. They smile in your face, all the time they wanna take your place, those back stabbers.
Triggs was my first real crush and, at the time, believed to be true love. Thankfully, it was just Gladys Knight's Imagination running away with me.
Alice was always dancing and singing as she enjoyed and embraced life. One of her favorite groups was Sly & the Family Stone and Hot Fun in the Summertime reminds me of summers long past and gone.
Rivers was a great gal who had a penchant for music, dance and partying that rivaled mine. She was hard to pin down and when J. finally did the impossible and we thought all was well he broke her heart. Rivers, It's a Heartache, nothing but a heartache.

Random Ten
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
This was the Summer Jubiliee's third weekend but my first to attend and see as it was a sixties/seventies jam it's no surprise we made it! If there's one man that's looking super fine and fit it is Steppenwolf's John Kay. The man easily puts some 30 year olds I know to shame and is solid muscle through and through.
~ Pink Floyd The Wall
~ Steely Dan Peg
~ Joe Walsh Life's Been Good
~ Toto 99
~ Bryan Adams Have You ever really Loved
~ CSNY Wasted on the Way
~ Thunder Gimme Some Lovin'
~ Supertramp Dreamer
~ Rolling Stones Start Me Up
~ GNR Sweet Child O'Mine

Chuck Negron formerly of Three Dog Night
I have been a fan of Three Dog Night and thought Chuck Negron quite handsome. I was totally stoked about Chuck performing solo at this year's Summer Jubilee and have eagerly awaited its arrival. It was a perfect night with the weather not oppressively hot and Chuck in fine form. His voice is strong and clear as ever and he sang many of TDN's hits. I never got to see them in their heyday, but last night came pretty darned close!
Oh, and he's still looking might fine and I enjoyed my eye candy!!
