I live in Southern California and live the digital lifestyle. I love technology, engage in social networks and thanks to the Amazon Kindle enjoy reading again. I listen to many podcasts and am interested in the paranormal. I don't go ghost hunting or anything like that, but I love reading, viewing and listening to a great fright!

A Day in My Life
The closure of the Robinsons-May department store is very sad for my mom and I who enjoyed shopping there. Of course, I preferred shopping when they were simply the May Company. I've bought clothing, shoes, televisions (yea, they used to sell televisions and large appliances pre-Robinsons buyout) and countless other items over the years. Robinsons-May has now been gobbled up by Macys and many malls have both anchor stores. The great consolidation is on resulting in more job losses and fewer options for shoppers.

We have the same thing going on here in PA. Kaufmann's is the May store getting swallowed by Macy's.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny looking at your pictures. Robinsons looks exactly like Kaufmann's.
I'm really going to miss some of the May company brands like Valerie Stevens
