10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
I tease Boo unmercifully about the sixties and bubble gum music. The truth is some of the best music was created in that era and many rock legends thankfully, left their legacy for us. I owe a lot to the sixties and that's the truth!
These were heard as we drove to our play/musical. Boo was in charge of the radio!
~ jackson five never can say goodbye (Bouncing on my bed with an imaginary mic in hand singing my heart out!)
~ the human league don't you want me (Partying with friends and screaming this refrain.)
~ roy orbison pretty woman
~ the beatles eight days a week (Flashback of my sisters singing and dancing with music blaring.)
~ chi lites have you seen her
As we waited for the performance to begin, this guy was scrolling his notebook computer like crazy as he handpicked the playlist. The closest we got to contemporary was the seventies.
~ tom jones it's not unusual (Pictured my mom dancing and smiling as she vacuumed.)
~ three dog night joy to the world
~ jerry butler western union man
~ johnny nash i can see clearly now
~ frank sinatra fly me to the moon (Thought of FIL)
Scary go go dancers...great tunes though:)
