It's here...

...vacation's finally arrived and I am ready. It's hard working year round while co-workers take time off, return and I'm still there. The flip side is that it's great to be away from the office for a chunk of time. There's nothing like completely clearing my head to help me gain perspective, etc.

Of course, this vacation is much different because I do not have my boy Buddah with me. This is the first vacation in fifteen years that I'm spending without him and I do miss him terribly. I miss him so much it hurts. I try to stay busy but it honestly doesn't help much. Every room of this house holds his memory.

We'll see what the Lord brings, right?
