In L.A. Everyone's a Star

We attended a film festival on Sunday and while waiting in line to enter (Boo was at the Will Call window) a woman and man approached the couple in front of me.

Female to everyone: "Oh, it's the star of the film!"
2nd Female: "Hi, how are you?"
Star?: "I'm just fine. I have to go and get my tickets."
Female: "You don't have to stand in line, do you?"
Star?: "I, uh, don't know!"
Female: "Well, we'll see you inside and we can't wait to see your film."

Upon entering the theater and finding seating lo and behold, the star was seated two rows ahead of us. Meanwhile, while waiting in the Will Call line, Boo saw Sally Kirkland and another star whose name I can't remember. Boo alleges that I looked directly at Sally and didn't recognize her, which is not surprising, since I rarely recognize any stars while out and about in Los Angeles.

The film was good, the seating great and the theater simply grand. It had been renovated and they did an exquisite job of maintaining its stature and elegance, while upgrading the seating to stadium style seating. We then dined at a favorite Italian restaurant, luckily before they embarked on a three week vacation.
