Madonna Concert at Arrowhead Pond

What can I say? It was absolutely the bomb! Seeing Madonna is the equivalent of seeing The Beatles during my sister's era. The Pond was packed, the audience stoked and Madonna pulsated throughout the arena. I can't remember when I last heard so much screaming and cheering at a concert. I actually thought I might exit the concert with loss of hearing! LOL

The audience was deafening. At times, I could barely make out what Madonna was saying and it's not because she skimped on the sound system. Everything was state of the art from the: elevating stages and bridge/catwalk, the escalator-like slide wher she danced, to the huge screens that projected her image for all to have a good view, to the 15 plus television screens that projected images in synch with the songs, to the trapeze dancers, skate boarder and hip hop dancer. Everything was top notch and perfectly choreographed.

Madonna sang many favorites like Material Girl, Holiday, Get into the Groove, Like a Prayer, and Vogue, as well as American Me, Music, Ray of Light, etc. It was a nonstop eye and sound feast with approximately four costume changes. She danced, pranced, skipped and gyrated on stage with such energy and force, that I grew tired watching her! She thanked her fans for coming and supporting her for twenty plus years. Madonna's one consummate performer and I'm glad I did not miss this concert!
