10 Favorite Places in Your Hometown
~ The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and the great court with available seating.
~ Rick's hamburger stand with adjacent stage area. They have good bands year round performing forty five minute sets on Fridays.
~ The dance studios that provide lessons and a great view for gawkers. We have one focused on salsa, etc. and the other ballroom.
~ Downtown Main Street has become more of a destination with good restaurants.
~ Almansor park with its duck pond and renovated track for walkers and joggers. It's very peaceful even when busy.
~ The Lovebirds Cafe has great homemade cookies, cakes, bread and sandwiches with quaint outdoor seating.
~ The Renaissance theater complex with its ample parking, stadium seating and surrounding eateries. You can do everything in one location.
~ In general, the quiet tree lined neighborhoods that are inviting to walk through and sit in the shade for quick respite.
~ Our present library is very small and outdated, but I'm looking forward to the two story library slated for completion in 2008.
~ Noodletown is Vietnamese restaurant that serves delicious soups and noodle dishes.
