I need to make a serious effort to get another multi-card reader. More of the technology I'm using requires SD cards and two of the three readers I own are solely for CF cards. I didn't foresee the popularity of the SD card rising and eventually taking over.

Most digital cameras (including my newest one), MP3 players, digital binoculars and PDAs use SD cards because of their super compact size and convenience. I still prefer CF cards because of the hard shell casing that protects the media, but the postage-sized SD card prices are dropping fast and that's a very good thing.
