Mother's Day



I had a fantastic Mother's Day yesterday. We went out to eat Chinese food at our favorite restaurant and arrived before the dinner crowd. We were seated and drinking our soup by the time it began getting real crowded. Our dinner was leisurely and, because we were not seated by the entrance, we did not feel hurried.



Ever dine out and feel like the people waiting are rushing you? I know I've felt like that or as if they're watching my every spoonful to calculate how much longer I'll remain seated! Anyway, we returned to my mom's and assembled a fan my sister had given her. It's a nice remote controlled fan and it wasn't too hard to assemble.



We talked, laughed and caught up with each other and just had a very relaxing evening. We talked so much, we didn't have time for a movie! Oh well, next time. LOL
