What Would You Do?



Everyone has different reactions to different situations. So, what would you do if you came upon the following...



1. A person obviously struggling to keep their head above water in a pool or lake. I try and save them. This would be quite a feat too, as I don't swim.



2. You find a $100 bill on the floor in a store. I'd listen for an announcement. If none is forthcoming, I'd keep it.



3. A dog or cat with a broken leash wandering aimlessly in your neighborhood. I'd take the animal to my home and care for it. I'd place signs in the neighborhood announcing that a dog/cat has been found and wait. In two days, I'd take the animal to be scanned for a microchip with information. If all fails, I'll try and find them a new home.



4. A person you don't know knocks on your door in the middle of the night claiming they have an emergency situation and want to use your telephone. I'd ask the nature of the emergency, where their vehicle's located (if it's a breakdown), and I'd phone 911 for them and relate the information. I would not unlock my door to either let them in or use my phone.



5. You see a car veer off the road and into the ditch. I'm dialing 911 from my cell and then heading to the spot to assist the occupants as best I can.
