Headphones
Today my headphones got caught in the door handle as I re-entered the building. I managed to untangle them before anyone else bolted through and broke them. When I returned to my cube I noted that the rubber ring protector for the left ear was missing.
Off to the main lobby I returned, convinced that the rubber ring had detached when it was stuck in the door handle. Now this is a large marble floored lobby with constant foot traffic. I'm searching for an item about 1/4" in diameter and blue gray in color against a brownish grayish colored floor. How difficult is that?!
Up strode my friend Rico Suave who inquired what I'd lost. I explained and he proceeded to help me search. We looked for a solid ten minutes, Rico, outstretching his arms to his side so people would walk around the suspected area. He is such a sweetheart and handsome devil, too!
Ahem, anyhoo, we end the search and Rico tells me he'll continue looking and, if he finds it, he'll bring it to me. I thanked him, departed and from the other side of the door I hear him asking people to "go around, please", I can tell he's still searching. I returned to my desk totally bummed, because I like my items to be complete and in good condition.
I placed my Muvo back in my bag and there was the missing rubber ring! I felt like an idiot and immediately returned to the lobby to tell Rico. Of course, he was gone, but I'll fess up the next time I see him - even if it means he laushs at me!
I live in Southern California and live the digital lifestyle. I love technology, engage in social networks and thanks to the Amazon Kindle enjoy reading again. I listen to many podcasts and am interested in the paranormal. I don't go ghost hunting or anything like that, but I love reading, viewing and listening to a great fright!

We've all heard about the harmful UV rays, but is this really necessary? Besides, all cars have tint in the glass, isn't that enough. I wonder if this is even legal. I felt like I was driving beside Darth's wife. Boo caught sight of her and told me I had to snap a shot. Sure enough, we met at the next red light!
