It's Here....

For weeks, well maybe not weeks, more like a week, I've been hinting to Boo that it's time to upgrade our tired old cell phone that didn't text message, take photos or have a color screen.

After seeing and using Boop's Motorola Razr I was hooked and fell in love with it. That was the cell phone I wanted and God was with me when He had Verizon snail mail me an upgrade offer for ..... the Razr!

Boo phoned about the details and cost and yesterday my pink Razr arrived...woo hoo! By the time Boo arrived home with the goodies, everything was charged and working. When Boop heard I was finally upgrading, she ran out during lunch to buy me a matching carrying case. LOL We gals must accessorize, right?

Boo apparently activated everything via Verizon's website, so convenient and easy! I've spent today exploring and playing with it; the menu options vary from Boop's Cingular plan. I'm learning, having fun and may ditch the digital camera. I have the email addy's I need for photo sharing, but I still need to migrate my phone numbers. Ugh, that's a chore I'm not looking forward to.

If there was a way that I could get rid of my cell phone I would.

I think I might drop text messaging all together as it's a pain in the bippy.

I'm waiting to see if they ever improve the camera features as it is, I would rather carry my camera with me.

I'm surprised however that you didn't buy one of the phones that play music.

  2. I absolutely refuse to get a new cell phone unless I am gauranteed that I can get a Scorpions song as a ringtone.

  3. Gals, let me enjoy my short lived nirvana, por favor! LOL

Mistress, if I can cut down on one item I carry it will be a success. You've seen how much gear I tote. You're right about the megapixels on the camphones being inadequate, but in certain situations it will suffice.

Surprise, I never even considered a MP3 player/phone. Subpar photos I CAN deal with, but don't mess with the quality of my music! ;-0

Lady, you need to find a site that will convert a Scorpions song into a ringtone! On second thought forget it, you'd have the darn phone ringing all day just so you could listen! =;-0
