Tuesday Twosome



Love is in the air...



1. Valentine's night: Alone or have a date? Oh yes, I have a date with my spouse.



2. Candy or flowers? Neither. Maybe jewelry or music. Something more tangible and lasting.



3. Valentine's Day: Romantic day or stupid commercial day to sell Roses at insane prices? For us, it's a romantic day. We'll do an early dinner and, depending on how we feel, may take in a movie or just return home and enjoy each other's company.



4. Would you stay with someone who you no longer want to be with just so you have a date on Valentine's Day or break up? No, definitely not. That's pretty pathetic. I'm comfortable with myself and who I am. Being with or without someone doesn't define me.



5. What is your best Valentine's Day memory? Going to Fiasco's in Marina Del Rey and returning home in a downpour. Traffic was congested and bad. We were encountering flooded roadways no matter which route we tried. Finally, we settled on taking Interstate 10 east and chose to traverse the fast lane. The lane was flooded and the water rapidly rising. While it was both frigthening and challenging, we had the best time ever listening to music, talking and laughing. Where it normally takes 1 hour, it took us 2-1/2 hours to arrive home!



What is your worst Valentine's Day memory? I honestly don't have one.
