MIA Recap
Because I've been MIA for awhile I thought I do a recap/catch up if you will on what's new or changed or upset me yea, there's some of that too!
~ Been doing a lot of consolidating and painting. Let's say it's been interesting and fun, being that I'd never painted the interior before.
~ Buddah has scored another pet stepper, poor guy's pushing 14 this year!
~ I broke my one and only portable CD/MP3 player and I am totally bummed about it. I use my iPod and Muvo a lot but I still need a CD player, especially when it comes to reviewing mixed CDs.
~ I've lost Boo to Bejeweled. Yep, Boo's been glued to the computer playing away and I'm sick of the jewels on the screen. I swear I'm uninstalling the damn thing! ;-P
~ Alas, I cannot get the HP Scanner that my neighbor gave me to work. I've tried it on three computers (two XP and one Windows ME) to no avail. I'm frustrated as can be and my neighbor swears she had it working on both OSs.
~ Boo may have to increase my cell plan to allow for more photos and SMSs. Hmmmm, Bejeweled may be a blessing....
~ I had no idea how expensive new drapes can be. Just about made some hair fall out.
~ The den has a new set up and I'm slowly adjusting to it. One not so good thing...I've been watching the TV and it's a huge time waster.
~ We're keeping the DSL connection and disconnecting the cable internet in three weeks. I'll miss it, but the cost compared to DSL is a no brainer.
~ Our cars are running great after we finally tuned them up and changed the oil. Funny how that does wonders.
~ I've been so preoccupied with other things that I'm two weeks behind in my podcasts.
~ I'm still hoping to buy a special someone's scooter, especially since it's just sitting in her cousin's garage. I'd love to tool around town on it!
~ I finally reformatted an old desktop computer with a CDRW add on and donated it to the Women's Shelter this morning. They seemed very pleased and it felt great to give it to such a worthy cause. Many of the women are victims of domestic violence and trying to get back on their feet again.
You have been very busy!!
