Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer in the US....so let's think summer!

What's your favorite way to listen to music on a hot summer day? Listening to music on a great of speakers as I sit outside sipping a margarita, pina colada, iced tea or lemonade with the odor of the BBQ grill nearby.

Do you have any music that you like to listen to more in the summer than any other time of the year? Definitely lots of rock and roll, a smattering of sixties Beach Boys, Jan & Dean and Motown tunes and a mad dash of disco!!!

Do you see more concerts in the summer? And if so what type of venues do you prefer to see those shows? Summer is definitely concert season and I look forward to summer because of the live music and plenty of free live music at local parks and county fairs. My favorite venues are outdoor venues (i.e. Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater, Starlight Amphitheater, etc.).
