The Weekly Capsule

- The commute's slow, wet and poor Buddah can't go outside. God forbid his paws and tail should get wet! Funny how cats can be so fastidious.

- Oh man, the first homemade chicken soup of the season and I feel like Autumn's really arrived. It's actually great, too. For the first time, I'm welcoming the season.

- Either we southern Californian's recieve such little rain that we don't know how to act or, we're destined to continue repeating mistakes. We're invariably on Storm Watch at the slightes inkling of rain. Yet, flooding was caused by clogged sewers and sump pumps in need of TLC. When will Angeleno's learn to check the sewers and sump pumps, this happens every year!

- Refraining from being judgmental even when it's the popular and in thing to do. Being with the "in crowd" isn't always the right thing to do.

- Buying the Van Helsing DVD and hoping the extras are in depth and worth the purchase! Viewing the movie and enjoying it the second time around. Still haven't seen the extras.

- Enjoying sweet apple pie and cider in the apple orchards even if it was crispy and damp. Getting out in nature is so rejuvenating and wonderful.

- Toothaches are no fun and I had forgotten how painful they can be. What's more, I'm deathly afraid of the dentist and making the call for an emergency appointment took a lot of prayer! LOL

- Feeling excited about almost completing reading the Bible in its entirety. I've maintained my commitment and learned so much in the process.
