Darkness



At 4:30 p.m. on the drive home, I could no longer wear my sunglasses because it was too dark. I know we're nearing the time when it will be dark at 4:30 p.m. and headlights are required. This is my darkest moment and the period I dread most. I need sunshine and sunlight and I hope the shortened days don't last too long. They do affect me, not in a grumpy or menacing way, but in a sad or depressed way. I become very lethargic and don't want to leave the house. B. has a heck of a time getting me to go to the market, even! LOL
