MP3 Users

There’s been a lot of buzz in the press about hearing loss as a result of listening to music too loudly via headphones and ear buds on a MP3 player. Apple Computer has responded to concern by releasing a software update that allows iPod owners to limit the volume their iPod may play.

Personally, I wonder what ever happened to taking personal responsibility for oneself? I do not wait for someone else to take care of me or tell me that I should not play my music full blast. Common sense and a desire to hear dictate how loudly I play my music or podcasts. Obviously, there are lost folk out there waiting to be led to safety and sanity.
