It's nice to work nearby my mom's house. She invited me over for lunch today and I found myself feeling so happy and thankful that: a) I still have my mom, b)our relationship is good and c)that she's in good health. I had a wonderful visit and delicious lunch of steak, broccoli and potatoes. My mom also surprised me with homemade capirotada - a Mexican bread pudding. Omigod, I was in heaven!
