Use it or Lose it!
We're nearing the end of our fiscal year and whatever time's not used, is lost forever. There's no carrying it over to the next fiscal year. So I'm enjoying a relaxing and quiet day in suburbia. Spouse is with me, which makes it all extra special. So far, we have plans of going to Kohl's, Stats (a floral/decorator specialty type shop) and grocery shopping. Yea, not that exciting but enjoyable when done with my soulmate.
I've also been watching Carol Duvall and a Scrapbooking show, both treats for me since I'm always at work when they air. These shows reminded me of how much I enjoyed rubber stamping and making cards about three years past. One Easter, I made treat cards that held candy inside. I guess I stopped crafting because time became scarcer. Spouse has suggested that I set aside one weekend day a month for crafting.
I miss the creative outlet somewhat, I think I would miss it a lot more if I wasn't into digital photography. Photography provides a creative outlet, though, much different. I like spouse's idea and think I'll try it. I certainly have all the stamps, inks, embossing powders, card stock, etc., so it's not like I have to go out buy the supplies. We'll see.
