Led Zepagain

I have no idea what's happened to the comment feature. I've enabled Blogger's comment feature, disabled Haloscan's and now have neither! LOL Such is my luck. I am still on my music high. Too wound up to go to sleep. The bands were good and Led Zepagain kicked total ass!

Lead singer Swan Montgomery sings very much like Robert Plant and is an excellent showman. Steve Zukowsky (aka Jimmy Page) makes his guitars sing like he's having wild sex with them. They travel all over and if you get a chance, they're one act that shouldn't be missed. I'm telling you, the stage area was jam packed with bodies. The dance floor disappeared and those seated in the bleachers, could only look on helplessly as throngs of people rushed in front of them, refusing to move.

During the band's second act, I got right in the mix and ended up third row from the stage. I was one of seven boomers willing to brave the crowd and we were surrounded by kids in their tweens and teens. They kept looking at us, but never daring to voice their thoughts. Finally one lady said, "Well, they're listening to our music and sampling everything our generation created." The band had a little competition with bikers revving their hogs nearby and Swan joked that he felt like he was at a Stones concert.

Lead singer Swan commented over and over again how wonderful it was to see such youthful faces in the audience. "Rap, Punk and new age is all good, but this here, this is the heart of rock and roll. Some of you may go home tonight and ask your parents to buy you your first guitar. Keep rock alive!"
