Quite by accident, I tried my experiment of riding the light rail train without wearing ear buds or otherwise occupying my time. No one spoke to me, however, I was more aware of my surroundings, tended not to daydream, and found the ride more enjoyable.

I traveled the same route as yesterday and upon disembarking in South Pasadena, treated myself to an ice cream cone of rocky road at Buster's Coffeehouse. It was another gorgeous day and I had a great time. It's been spring-like weather all week and I've been taking advantage of it. Come on weather, heat up a lot more! LOL

I need to work on my awkwardness and apprehension about photographing interiors of businesses or people in public spaces. While at Buster's Coffeehouse, I saw many interesting and unique artwork and photos that created the funky ambience of the coffeehouse. Most everything is used or well lived in, unlike Starbucks where it wreaks of money for new furniture and overstuffed chairs. I would like to have snapped photos and yes, my trusty camera was with me.

What's on Right now

What's On the back seat of your car Right Now? (If you don't own a car, what's on the back seat of someone else's car?) Have a great week, everyone! and thanks for playing! Old issues of People magazine. I intend to give them to my mom for leisure reading, but always forget! You'd think I'd remember since it is the sole item on the seat.

Wednesday Whatevers

1. What is the most useless thing ever invented? Cigarettes. They serve no healthy purpose and contribute to hundreds of premature deaths annually.

2. Press CTRL+V and we'll see what interesting thing comes up. The paste command pasted text about photo recovery tips. Yeah, I'm still trying to salvage my images. The software arrived two weeks ago and it's partially working. So far, 100 of the 247 images have been recovered.

The software automatically shuts down/quits after 20 - 30 minutes of operation. Yes, I've been working at this bloody thing for so long, I've had the opportunity to time it. Is this pathetic or what? However, I have the tenacity to stick to this until I achieve results!

The tech support office is open M - F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m Eastern and there's no toll free number. Well, with the overtime I've been working and living on the west coast, they're never open when I can phone. I surely can't make a long distance from work! Since I'm off this Friday, guess who I'm calling?

3. What do you think society will achieve before your death? I think it's more likely we'll be able to clone humans than have a cure for AIDS, cancer, Alzheimers, or end hunger.
