So tomorrow's April 1st and supposedly more layoffs will occur. One of the layoffs may affect a very dear and longtime friend of mine and to date he has said absolutely nothing. I'm stuck. Do I approach him about it? What if he genuinely doesn't know? On the other hand, if indeed he doesn't know, I can't imagine how devastated he'll be after 25 plus years. The thought of him leaving without saying good-bye leaves me with a dead, empty, sad feeling. I hope and pray that my 'source' was wrong and my friend receives a reprieve.
