Happy Labor day
It's a hot, relaxing day in my househould. Buddah's been lying about the house trying to stay cool and we sat outdoors for about an hour or so. That's all he could stand before coming inside and dramatically throwing himself onto the hardwood floor. Oh, such a difficult life he lives!
We awoke early this morning and drove to our favorite restaurant for breakfast. They offer a still deal on weekdays for eggs, bacon and two pancakes. After a 25 minute drive we arrived to find they weren't offering the breakfast special. What to do? We stayed and paid regular price and the breakfast was delicious!
I've been working on photos and updating the blogs. Someone inquired if it all isn't just a tad time consuming? Well, it is but enjoying the writing and photography keeps my passion high. It's not a chore, so much as a labor of love.
I was also admiring the coverage of the RNC that many New York photobloggers provided. Some were arrested as they snapped photos, others were at risk when crowd dispersal was enforced. I admire both their courage and commitment in providing us an alternate view to what conglomerate media wants us to buy into.
Thank you N.Y. Photobloggers!
