Midweek Music Theme



Back in the Mesozoic Age

Since I often listen to classic rock and ‘80’s rock stations on the radio, my kids have gotten to know a lot of music that came out before they were born - or in some cases, even before I was born (one of my spawn is a big Beatles fan). Sometimes it causes mixed feelings, to realize that they are singing songs that I enjoyed when I was their ages or even younger, but overall I think it’s terrific.



What is your favorite song that was written before you were born? Jerry Lee Lewis's Great Balls of Fire. I love the energy of this song and the happy foot stompin way it makes me feel!
