FIL



I forgot to update that FIL's been released from the rehab facility as of Tuesday. His spirit is strong and he said he knows that he almost died. He's very happy to be alive and be home, sleeping in his own bed and relaxing at will. He'll continue physical therapy twice weekly beginning next Tuesday at the same facility. They seem to have done wonders for him at Country Villa in Murrieta, CA. He now admits to having been depressed for some time and credits Country Villa and their nuturing and supportive staff for his dramatic improvement.



After visiting him today, I can see the improvement in attitude and willingness to continue doing whatever is necessary to remain healthy. He talked for several minutes (a rarity for him) and only momentarily mentioned that MIL has been on a rampage since his return home. She apparently was so upset with him, that she took off just after we phoned to announce our arrival! LOL I feel we all agreed that it was best that she was not present. It made for a much more relaxing and happy visit.
