TV Tuesday

Judge shows

Court shows have been around a long, long time. From Judge Wapner and his bailiff Rusty to a tough little lady named Judge Judy there's been a lot of different faces and a lot of cases decided in under 30 minutes.

You're the jury this week, it's your job to see all the evidence and render a verdict!

Judge shows, what do you think? Some our informative and entertaining, others are plain stupid and a waste of time. Especially when the parties are allowed to extend verbal insults at each other until commercial break and re-enter still bantering.

1. Do you have a favorite judge? Least favorite? I always liked Judge Wapner. I couldn't stand Larry Elder.

2. If you were given the chance would you settle a court case on a judge show? No. I want a fair chance minus the theatrics and reshoots. I don't need that form of attention.

3. What's the silliest case you've ever seen on a judge show? Two sisters fighting over payment due for an obese niece's food consumption. Niece vacated sister A's house for sister B, who didn't want her niece roaming the streets. The niece ate so much, sister B was having to work lots of O.T. and when the dust settled, sought payment from sister A. Sister A said, "No way. You took her in, she's your responsibility. You should've minded your own damned business. I ain't paying you s___!"

~Bonus~ Imagine it, you've got your own show and now you're a judge, what would your show be like? Cut and dry, by the book. Substantiate your case with Evidence. No he/she said without hard, tangible evidence!
