We went to Wild About Music and in honor of the Material Girl and her concert this weekend, Madonna graced the store’s display. The concert program was priced at $30,(I thought it must be marked up) but in fact, it’s $30 at the concert venue. The program I viewed included a sheet of stickers of Madonna in various poses, the sticker sheet retails for $10 at the concert venue separate from the program!Wild About Music had this gorgeous plaque from one of my favorite Madonna tunes Erotica and I wanted to buy it but abstained….I didn’t think Boo would appreciate the $225 collectors price. While snapping a photo of the Erotica plaque a guy snatched it from the wall. I felt a pang in my stomach, but chalked it up to not being my time to purchase it.
Madonna was at the Staples Center last night and my friend Shy Girl attended. We originally planned to attend with her but then, I don't know, the urge to spend $175 each ticket waned and I told Boo that I did not want to attend. I’ll get the scoop on Monday and oogle any souvenirs she purchased, one of which I'm sure will be a program.
