Sly & the Family Stone
It's hot, slightly humid and glorious today. We spent most of the day installing air conditioners - that's right, plural - we installed three of them and now wait to see which, if any, and how many fuses we blow! We've been at it since mid-morning and the house feels absolutely lovely and cool.
Buddah and I went outdoors so he could exercise and let me tell you, the minute I entered through the back door I could feel the temperature drop ten degrees. Thankfully, the three A/Cs are on different breakers so we're hopeful it will work out.
I've been listening to lots of music and podcasts as we're working and just generally being productive - how disgusting is that? LOL We're off for a walk now to Home Depot and probably for dinner, so I hope you're staying cool and comfy.
Oooh, we finally watched this seasons Desperate Housewives. We cached them on the DVR and have been viewing two to three episodes for almost two weeks, what the heck, all our other shows are on hiatus now. I thoroughly enjoyed this season with its many wonderful quotes and one liners and don't understand why some people felt the show had lost its uniqueness and edge?
