10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
I just loved the bumper stickers on this car.
Talk about songs evoking memories; during the early eighties our friend Maria lived with us and she drove a full sized pick up truck with camper. It accomdated four people, had a small kitchen and sink and fold out dining table. I loved driving that thing around town and became very adept at gauging distance and parking. Many nights were spent in the mountains of Crystal Lake, sleeping by the campfire on pallets and sleeping bags, it would have to get pretty chilly for us to sleep in the camper. Great times, indeed!
~ Psychedelic Furs Love My Way
~ Toto Africa
~ Adam Ant Goody Two Shoes This is so fun and campy, I can't help but feel happy!
~ Taco Puttin' on the Ritz
~ After the Fire Der kommissar
Some songs are immediately identified with an era and these are some of them. When played out of context they scream the era they belong to. I think the eighties produced many.
~ Eddy Grant Electric Avenue
~ Billy Ocean Carribean Queen
~ Ray Parker, Jr. Ghostbusters
~ Tears for Fears Shout!
~ Right Said Fred I'm Too Sexy
