Random Questions; Random Days

On this day in 1935, Elvis Presley was born. Do you like rock-n-roll? What is your favorite kind of music? I definitely like rock n roll! My favorite bands are Led Zep, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Kiss, etc. There's no doubt that I'm a rocker at my core!

Three for Thursday

1. Do you have any pets? If so what kind and what are their names? I have

one indoor fur person named Buddah. He doesn't know he's a cat. He knows

only that whatever we are, he is. He's part Siamese and he is a talker!

Just let me exit my house and the whole household hears about it.

Outdoors, I've been adopted by two cats: a tortie named Little Girl and Chit Chat. Now Little Girl received her name by mistake; she was hanging around the

backyard and wouldn't leave. She'd eat what food we'd place, but wouldn't allow us to get within 10 feet of her. She'd immediately hiss and run. Since it's a known fact that tortie's are female, we took to saying, "Oh, that Little Girl. She's a saucy one alright!" When she finally came around, she'd respond to Little Girl!

2. What are 3 of your favorite animals? Horse, cat, dog.

3. What 3 animals do you not like? Vulcher, hyena, snake.

Thursday Three

1. What was the last song that you listened to? Car Wash - oh dear, am I

dating myself? LOL

2. What was the last album you bought? Now *you're dating yourself! The last

CD I bought was Vicente Fernandez Greatest Hits Volume 2.

3. Are there any albums or songs you plan on getting soon? No. I haven't

started buying music online because: I don't own a portable MP3 player yet

and I prefer the quality of that dinosaur called a CD. I know the music

industry predicts the compact disc will be dead in five years, but I sure hope not. CDs do need to come down in price. Maybe then, I 'll be inclined to buy something.

the Thursday Threesome

Whew! Are you done with the holiday thing yet? Let's start things off for

the new year in the proper position...

Onesome: Top-- Now that things have calmed down, what's at the top of your

list to take care of? School? The garden? Shoveling the snow? I have four

birthdays and one christening this month, so I'm just trying to make sure I

fulfill all of my commitments. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or

forget them.

Twosome: Dead-- ...and then again, what got so dead and buried in the

holiday fluff that you may not be able to get get it restarted? That weight

loss thing? Reading? Relaxing??? For now, it's definitely relaxing. My

weekends right now feel more like "work" because I'm going, going, going!

I must say, that the celebrations this month are with those whom I love

dearly. So in that respect, it's fun and far from work.

Threesome: Center-- Yeah, relaxing! What are you doing to try to keep

yourself centered this year? Some serious down time? Yoga? Long walks in the

country? I'm reading the Bible, for the first time, in it's entirety on a

daily schedule. It amounts to two to four chapters each day. It's very

manageable, fascinating and interesting.
