Renaissance Faire
When we first met, spouse took me to the Renaissance Faire in Calabasas, CA. I'd never heard of the faire and hadn't a clue what one did or saw there. I remember our first drive out there, it seemed so far and foreign, like we were hundreds of miles away from home. I felt excited, giddy and eager to arrive. As we approached the Paramount Studios Ranch (the Renaissance Faire rented the property annually for the occasion), this expanse of rolling hills, meadows and trees lay before us. It was clear and open as far as the eye could see.
Minstrels, Kings, Queens, jesters, etc. were walking about, some eating giant turkey drumsticks as they mingled, and everyone seemed to be dressed in Elizabethan clothing. It was strange yet, intoxicating and fun. We attended the faire for several years until the company lost its lease at the Paramount Studios Ranch. Well, the faire's back this year at a new venue near our home and I'm once again eagerly anticipating attending. Since they're in constant play/acting mode, I'll count this as attendance to a play! ;-) Mojo:This will fill my desire to attend a play in 2005, okay?
I live in Southern California and live the digital lifestyle. I love technology, engage in social networks and thanks to the Amazon Kindle enjoy reading again. I listen to many podcasts and am interested in the paranormal. I don't go ghost hunting or anything like that, but I love reading, viewing and listening to a great fright!

Take Me Back Tuesday
Using only songs from before 1990
1. Using your name, list the titles. (ie - Deb could be: Dirty Diana, Every Breath You Take, Blue Moon)
George Benson Everything must Change
Jim Croce Lover's Cross
Diana Ross & Lionel Ritchie Endless Love
Janet Jackson Nasty
The Fifth Dimension Aquarius/Let the Sunshine in
Okay, I covered three decades (1960s - 1980s) and had to remove poor Carly Simon's All I want is You because it's from the 90s!
2. A little I say, you think: (Name the first song that comes to mind) LOL I thought this question an odd one for a music meme. Look at my original answers.
Red: Wine
Vivid: Imagination
Soft: Romantic
Catchy: Phrase
Forgettable: Nat King Cole
Okay, now that I've read Doh! and followed the instructions, here ya go!
Red: Spill the Wine
Vivid: Just My Imagination
Soft: In the Waiting Line
Catchy: Hungry Heart
Forgettable: Unforgettable
3. Name three songs with animals in the title.
Ted Nugent Cat Scratch Fever
The Osmonds Wild Horses
Louis Armstrong This Black Cat has 9 Lives

Eagles Tix
Boo yah! Announced this morn, Eagles tickets go on sale Monday for an October 8th performance. We were locked out of the other shows in both Anaheim and L.A. They sold out in ten minutes! Unbelievable for a band that hasn't had any new music in a few years and hasn't toured for sometime. That's the magic of music, isn't it? It never dies and is universal for generations to come. Mojo's gonna work on buying tix and I'm praying we get them!
Shy Girl, who's hubby always has his pulse on he music scene, phoned Shy Girl and told her to run and tell me. Unfortunately, the hubby has to work on Saturday evenings, but I told Shy Girl to join us. Talk to hubby and if he's cool with it, let's go party! LOL Though, I wouldn't put it past her hubby to save a sick day for a particular Saturday night! Maybe we'll be a foursome, which would be just fine too.

Helping a Friend
I've been busy, busy, busy ripping Guapo's CDs to MP3 for transfer to his new Muvo C100. Yup, he bought the same one I have. This a man who alleged that he needed a "durable player and only about 20 songs. I don't need to have music for my entire workout." Guapo has exceeded the capacity of his resident 256 megs of memory and has now bought a 512 meg external card for more music.
He laughed when I quipped "Men!" and began mimicking him. I barely finished transferring songs to the 256 megs and now he's telling me he'll have more CDs for me on Monday. In the meantime, he's taken his player for the weekend and I can assume he'll return it to me Monday for return Wednesday. Between work and life getting in the way, it's not like I have all evening to rip and transfer. ;-P I'm gonna hurt Guapo!

Random Ten
I've always liked the Doors and CCR and got the rhythm for Love her Madly stuck in my head. Jim Morrison's voice was so unique and rich, another classic case of an artist perishing before his time. Thankfully, CCR merely disbanded. These songs are really timeless and I just awoke with Susie Q's guitar rift on repeat! LOL It's really quite nice when that happens. I get to float through the day accompanied by music!
I'm glad the Music Memoirs gals have come up with another meme. What film could be a success without music. The answer none. Even the early silent films recognized music as an intrinsic part of a film. This is the soundtrack of my weekend. It's rock music to do housework by, dance to, chill with or just plain enjoy!
- Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Born on the Bayou
- Doors Roadhouse Blues
- CCR Susie Q
- Doors Love Me Two Times
- Doors Light My Fire
- CCR Run Through the Jungle
- Doors L.A. Woman
- CCR Sweet Hitch-Hiker
- Doors Love Her Madly
- Doors Hello, I Love You

Monday Madness
It's spring here in Michigan, but the weather today does not reflect that. My inspiration for this week's questions came from my mom suggesting the subject be SPRING! Thanks, Mom!! And thank you all for playing!! =)
1. What season are you in right now? Praise the Lord, we're in spring! So Cal received so much and cold weather in winter, I thought it would never end.
2. Do you celebrate anything special this time of year? Just a lot of birthdays. LOL Seriously, we have at least two birthdays a month until July.
3. Name 3 things that come to mind when you think of spring (or your current season)? Warmth, joy, sunshine.
4. In the current season, about how many hours of the day are daylight hours? About 13 hours and I'm dying for summer when we'll have almost 15 hours.
5. Do you do any 'spring cleaning?' Ah yes, been there and done that. The next project is the garage and I'm not looking forward to it. LOL
6. Do you wash your own car or take it to the car wash? Wash my own car.
7. Do you hang your laundry out on a clothesline on nice days? No.
...and the following is optional; although I do encourage you to participate:
8. Post a picture that reflects the current season where you live.

We have a new station in the L.A. market Jack 9.31 FM. They've replaced Arrow, a classic rock station that played a lot of Steve Miller, Fleetwood Mac, ZZZ top, etc. I've read that L.A.'s one of the toughest and most competitive markets in North America. So I bid farewell to Arrow and gave Jack a listen. They're motto says: "We put our playlist on shuffle and play!" I'm sure the compliment to Apple's iPod is intentional. So far, I have to say that I like it. I can hear the Cranberries, B52s, The Stones, The Shins one after the other and somehow it works!
I'm being exposed to new music, something I always consider a plus, and I'm liking the variety. I can never be certain where the current playlist is headed or anticipate what I might hear next. Its fun, actually and I can't remember when I last said that commercial radio was fun. I liken it to being at your favorite pub or bar and having an iPod night. Some stranger connects their iPod to the establishment's sound system and lets it rip. Except, I get to listen to it one way better, I can take my listening experience with me wherever I go!

I'm beat!
This week kicked my butt. Our weather's been pretty nice, even with the breeze and I'm so looking forward to the weekend. I rented Birth starring Nicole Kidman. Haven't a clue what it's about. A friend recommended it and since I had a free rental coupon, I figured "what the heck" and rented it.
Spouse is full of surprises...we may score tix for The Eagles concert in Anaheim. I saw them during the 'When Hell Freezes Over' tour and they were unforgettable. I didn't know they were touring again. Apparently, the L.A. shows at the Staples Center are sold out. Just our luck, too, as it is the venue closest to us.
I'm bummed to learn that Elton John has no concert dates in San Diego. That's right, I was willing to drive down to San Diego to see him. He is in Anaheim during Mother's Day weekend, but we're already booked solid with my mom and my mother-in-law. I guess, it's Vegas....spouse, are you reading this??? Elton does a stint in Vegas when Celine's resting! LOL May the Lord smile upon me and get me to an Elton John concert in 2005.
Top Five On Friday
This week is much easier than last week's:
Top five songs with a name in the title.
The Beatles Lucy in the Sky (with Diamonds) Not on of my faves, but a pretty good tune anyway.
Van Morrison Gloria A song sung by many artists and still quite popular.
Eric Clapton Layla My sister Glo turned me onto this song and it's one of the few times we searched for a song together.
The Rolling Stones Ruby Tuesday A Stones classic.
The Kinks Lola Try not to get lost in the rhythm and listen to the words. It's an interesting story!

Thank God for music!
Riding the subway and observing two friends sitting silently together. They're each in their separate world listening to their MP3 players, oblivious to everyone else. I sit and watch them, ear buds firmly planted in my ears and note that six rows away, three males are saying something. I pause my player to listen and realize they're acting like buffoons. So much noise pollution, thank God for buds and music!

Concert Tix!
Just when I was doubting the upcoming concert season and feeling like it was going to be a total non-event, spouse comes up with a double header: we've got tix for the Moody Blues June 11th concert and Los Lonely Boys and Ozomatli on July 30th. Yea, baby! I am totally - totally- stoked. The fact we could not score decent seating for Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire in September, couldn't put me in a bad mood. The only thing that's weird so far is that we don't have an event at the Hollywood Bowl. It's one of my favorite venues for concerts, so hopefully, someone we like will perform there.

Computer Activity
I was checking my prime email account and realized that I hadn't checked my email in 3-1/2 weeks! That's very surprising considering that was my primary computer activity. So I began wondering where the heck have I been? Well....it seems my primary activity now is blogging. Whether it's text blogging or maintaining my photo blog. I'm also busy snapping photos, cropping photos, and dealing with contrast.
Most of my email communication takes place from my work account. Anything that I have to share while at home is posted on my blog. I rarely email family and friends from home and this has caused estrangement. My cous emailed inquiring about my absence and wondering if I was alright. When I checked my last outgoing email to her it showed February 22nd!
I don't advertise my blog to family and friends. Mostly, it's strangers reading this and new friends I've made online, but have never met in person. I communicate with some via email, but mostly through the comment section of their blog. It's interesting that in such a connected world I've become somewhat disconnected from family and friends in RL. Anyone else experience this?

Take Me Back Tuesday
All right folks, here we are back again in the recesses of my mind. So let's get memeing shall we?
(Yup, I've had a long week and I am in one of those moods....)
So....
Name three songs from the year you were born.
Elvis Presley I Need Your Love Tonight
Bobby Darin Dream Lover
Dion & The Belmonts A Teenager In Love
Name three artists who had hits the year you were born.
Fabian Turn Me Loose
Paul Anka Put You Head On My Shoulder
Bobby Darin Mack The Knife
Name three artists born the same year you were born.
I'm stumped on this one!
Damn, how the heck should I know who was a hit when I was a baby?! This one required Googling. First time Fallen's driven me to the search engine. No more moods, Fallen! LOL I briefly entertained the thought of saying I couldn't participate. How could I possibly know these answers!

Monday Madness
From the time you get up in the morning until the time you go to bed at night, how many different digital/electronic devices do you use on any given day? Please consider listing them, as it would be interesting to see what everyone comes up with!
- Alarm clock
- Car
- Watch
- Computer
- PDA
- CD player
- MP3 Player
- Digital Camera
- Microwave
- Cell phone
- Digital timers
...and an optional random question, because I just cleaned my mouse...
How often do you clean your mouse? Maybe once a year. I never think to clean it!

Boop
Boop is all moved in to her new place and is a scant one mile from me. How did that happen? LOL Especially considering her boyfriend's insistence that she move to Los Angeles proper. Now she's whining about her upstairs male neighbor. He's apparently quite loud and awakens at 4 a.m. I'm just sitting in my cube busting up as I listen to her whining.
She's experienced a lot of challenges lately and overall, she's doing great. I'm so happy for her. There are many people who could not effectively deal with her challenges. They would've already fallen apart. Boop keeps chugging along and I try to be there for her as best I can. Ours is probably the closest co-worker/partner-in-crime relationship that I've had in a long time.
I don't normally bond with co-workers. You know the adage: "They'll spread your business everywhere and you have to work with these folks." We get along well and talk about many different and meaningful things. It's not all superficial or fun. I'm glad Boop's my partner-in-crime and I think even she'd agree that we're a good mix! LOL

Vendor Carts
Friends were joking that for my belated birthday celebration, they'd take me to lunch at a vendor cart. Everyone knows I never eat at the darned things and have a phobia about such places. Well, this afternoon as I hung around Sunset Blvd., I observed this vendor.
He ran his fingers through his hair twice. Rubbed his face - all over - as if trying to remove the grit and sweat, then wiped his hands on his pants. He poked his butt (as if he were the only person on planet earth) and then touched the food. Yep, he didn't put on any gloves.
An unsuspecting customer came up, he fixed his hot dog (with bare hands), took his money, made change, and helped the next victim. Not once - not once - did he ever wipe his hands with a damp cloth. Use hand sanitizer. Or wipe them with baby wipes. Money is one of the filthiest things we handle on a daily basis and this man is serving food.
So, I'll be the stuffy one and maintain my boycott against cart vendors. I'm unwilling to eat food prepared with uncleaned, dirty hands. The same way I wouldn't eat at a restaurant with a B or C rating, I won't chance eating from a vendor's cart where there is no rating system and no oversight by the health department. What I'd like to know is, why do many people patronize these vendor carts?

Top Five On Friday
This week's Top Five topic came from a suggestion from Lady Starlight.
Top five songs with names of "flowers" in the title.
America Daisy Jane
Bette Midler The Rose
The Rolling Stones Dandelion Um it's a weed, but does flower!
Elvis Presley Violet
Gordon LightFoot Dream Street Rose
Kate Bush Lily
Just in case dandelion's unacceptable. I don't want to leave an opening for Fallen! LOL Darn, Lady Starlight came up with a difficult challenge. She needs to vacation now.

My Clicks
Today's click is a bizarre one. It doesn't have anything to do with file recovery or computer optimization. It has more to do with potential cleansing of your soul or conscience. It's a tad on the bizarre side, but surely satisfies the voyeur in all of us!

Star Wars Episode 3 Line
We have a controversery in Hollywood that's escalated into two factions at two separate theaters. Star Wars Episode 3 fanatics have lined up at the usual haunt Grauman's Theater. All previous premieres and opening days have been there, so why not Episode 3? The problem: The Arclight theater (a block or so down the street), insists that it is hosting Episode 3's premiere and screening it first. Grauman's insist's it is not screening this film . Yet, the faithful, fanatical, nerd of nerds, continue lining up at Grauman's.
They even answer the pay phone 323/462-9609 and have a website. You can see a guy chatting on the pay phone in the last picture. They're equipped with notebook computers, webcams, digital cameras, MP3 players, PDA's, DSL access (drawn from a nearby business) and all the geek gear they could possibly need! Not to mention being strategically located to any junk food they could possibly desire!
Oh, did I mention that the movie's release is 35 days away?!

Take Me Back Tuesday
This week isn't going to be all that hard, provided that you've at least heard of the subject, Sir Elton John. Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but when I watch music documentaries, I get inspired.
Name three Elton John ballads.
Your Song
Curtains
The One
Name three Elton John songs that never fail to make your feet move.
Funeral for a Friend
Philadelphia Freedom
A Meal Ticket
Name three artists who have covered Elton John songs.
Sting
Kate Bush
George Michael
Bonus - name Sir Elton's collaborative partner - his songwriting partner that is. Ahhh, that would be the fabulous Bernie Taupin. When Elton and Bernie stopped collaborating for an album or three, I really missed Bernie.
Fallen, are you getting soft and having mercy on me? I am a huge Elton John fan, so this was so sweet and easy! LOL

David Cassidy
Yea I know, it even seems lame in the title, right? No matter, I can admit to having had a gigantic crush on none other. The posters. The teen magazines. Being glued to the TV in giddy anticipation of the Partridge Family show. I was there and I will someday see him perform in Vegas. Yea I know, time to get the ol' head checked.
David's biggest competition was Bobby Sherman. He also had a singing career and starred in a TV series named Here Come the Brides. I believe David Soul of Starkey & Hutch fame starred alongside Bobby. I don't know, Bobby never did much for me. He didn't have David's dreamy hair, slightly crooked teeth and mischievous smile.
So why am I reminiscing about David Cassidy tonight. Probably because tomorrow's his birthday and I figure he must be 50 or slightly over. He still looks good to me and he was probably my first serious crush. How I wish I had kept some of that stuff. Can you imagine what it would be worth? Ugh, I'm dying!

My Clicks first appeared two Thursdays past. Since last Thursday was my birthday and I didn't post, I'm posting it today instead. My clicks will not always be computer-related. Some will be for just plain fun!
My Clicks
There are essential things Windows users must have/do:
- Install Anti-Virus software and regularly update it (twice weekly). If you don't care to buy one, there are free alternatives:
AVG Anti-virus
Free online scanning virus software
Housecall Anti-virus is great to use when you're suspicious of a false positive. It will not only find the virus, but remove it. Others like Panda Software's online virus scan will find the virus or spyware, but prompt you to buy and not remove anything!
- Install anti-Spyware software and pre-set all the immunizations, especially in SpyBot Search & Destroy
Spybot Search & Destroy
Ad Aware
Windows XP Giant
- Install a Firewall
Broadband users need to have a hardware firewall (AKA a router). Brand names for routers are: Net Gear, D-Link, Belkin, Linksys, etc. Software firewalls are okay for dial up users, but Broadband requires extra protection. Hackers seek out broadband services for their fat pipes and speed.
Free software firewalls for dial up users:
Sygate Personal Firewall
Tiny Firewall
Zone Alarm
- Windows Update
Regardless the version of Windows you use, regularly apply the updates. We all know Windows has a lot of holes and vulnerabilities. Without the updates, the vulnerabilities persist and once Microsoft announces an update, hackers read about the fixes thereby learning about the gaping holes and are more knowledgable about where and how to strike. Patches and updates should always be applied to Internet Explorer!
- Use another browser.
A free alternative is Firefox. It's small, nimble and has been in use for awhile. Don't uninstall Internet Explorer because you'll need it for Windows Update and for some of the recommended online virus scanners. These online services use Microsoft's Active X program.
That's it. I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but I do wish to share the information and knowledge that I have. Whenever free is available, I use it as an alternative. What I've recommended is what I use. If it helps just one person, then I'm happy!

Beck
I bought Beck's Guero CD and have been listening to it over and over again. I really like its eclectic mix of rock, fusion, electronica and funk. Out of the thirteen songs, I like eleven solidly. The other two will grow on me eventually, I'm sure.
We had a lot of winds today and it was a perfect day for kite flying. Unfortunately, I have neither a kite nor the time to do so, but if I did, that's what I want to be doing. I can't remember the last time I flew a kite. I think it was back in the eighties in San Simeon at a kite shop. Is that pathetic or what?

My Birthday
Yesterday was my birthday and I had a fantastic day. It began wonderfully with spouse singing Happy Birthday and giving me the most beautiful card and my gift. The card expressed wonderful sentiments that I believe hold true. My gift was a one gig SD card for my Muvo MP3 player. I am so jazzed about my gift. I've wanted a one gig SD card for awhile now and you know, I am going to be busy this weekend ripping tunes to the card! LOL
At work, Boop and the gang took to a delicious Chinese restaurant, sang Happy Birthday to me and then sang again when it was time to cut my cake! Lunch I'd anticipated, but not the cake. It was a day of fun, chatting, joking and general relaxation. Some work got done, but honestly, not a whole lot!
I arrived home and my great neighbors called movie night. They bought my favorite meal - pizza and we watched Spanglish. I was unfamiliar with this film but thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially since it was filmed in my back yard - Los Angeles. I think it correctly captured the ambiguity Latinas experience in their acculturation process. Many others try to assimilate and find it doesn't work. Anyway, it's an excellent comedy and Tea Leoni did an excellent job of playing the neurotic housewife. Paz Vega is an actress to watch. She was charming and captivating and Penelope Cruz, J. Lo, and Selma better watch their backs! LOL After the movie, we had pineapple upside down cake and it was time to call my day a night!

Top Five on Friday
Top 5 Road Trip Albums
Led Zepplin Physical Graffiti one of my all time favorites and one that I know all the songs to. It's been a staple of mine for so long and been the soundboard for numerous experiences. It's a dear old friend and one I never, ever tire of.
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band another one that's been around the block a few times with me. Again, I know all the songs and sing my heart out to them!
Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road love Funeral for a Friend and this is Elton's most definitive album. It is Elton at his best!
El Chicano Viva Tirado an oldie but goodie that's primarily instrumental and allows my mind to wander and take in my environment as I aimlessly roam.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono Double Fantasy the final CD Lennon & Ono made before John's murder. A tragedy no matter which way you look at it.
I have to confess that coming up with five road trip CDs was quite challenging. It's amazing to realize how much of the music I listen to are custom mixes. I don't believe that I listen to a single CD in its entirety anymore. As an example, a disco CD should definitely be on the list, actually number one on the list, but I didn't include it because it's a mix. I don't have one store bought CD that comprises my disco music. So this was an eye opening, fun challenge and you've made me aware of my pattern.

Birthdays and Aging
This year my mom celebrated her 79th birthday and the first thing she said is "I never thought I would live this long." Considering that grandma died when my mom was only nine, I can see why this birthday is such a milestone. I am just so very thankful that God has blessed my mother with good health - physically, emotionally and mentally and is tending to her spiritual needs as well.
When I ponder the thought of living until my eighties, that's what the statisticians predict will be our life expectancy, I'm not so sure that I want to live that long. If B. is with me, I wouldn't mind. However, if I'm widowed, why would I want to stick around? The majority of my loved ones would already be gone and I'd just be in the way. So it's interesting the way our life expectancy continues extending.
I guess my upcoming birthday this week has me ruminating. I don't feel old and it's very probable that I won't feel old when I'm in my eighties. I might feel this way because I see so many elderly looking lonely and sad. They're waiting for visitors and eagerly anticipating the conversation that will ensue. Rather than exist like that, I'd prefer to call it a day and move on. LOL
Of course, if I lieved in an assisted living facility, I'd find all sorts of ways to get into trouble. My neighbor's dad is in such a facility and the main complaint she receives is that her dad is still trying to pick up the ladies! LOL He still can't keep his hands to himself and thinks himself quite the ladies man. I'll be happy if I still have my mental faculties and can find a partner to play board games with.

Defragging
Damn, I'm sure glad my notebook HD is only 20 gigs. It took 3 - 1/2 hours to defrag in safe mode. Safe mode is the most basic mode you can operate a PC in. There are no drivers or resident programs running, so conceivably, it should operate faster and more efficiently. Let me tell you, when I can clean the entire house in the time it takes to defrag, that is very sad!! LOL
Several times I stopped what I was doing to check the computer's screen. I was positive it had stopped defragging and expected to see the blue screen of death. Instead, I found the familiar defrag status bar slowing snaking its way from left to right to completion. When I started the sun was shining, when it finished it was dark!
Now I remember why I don't defrag as often. It is said that every two years (preferrably annually), one should do a complete reinstall of the Windows OS. It slows down with time and becomes increasingly unstable. I'm at the point where I feel I need to do this, but oh, how I dread it. Looks like I'll be spending this weekend cleaning the computer's files in preparation. Ahhh, spring cleaning!
Imagine how wonderful it will be and how I'll feel if everything ends up working as it should. I will be pleasantly surprised and ecstatic. On the other hand, if the computer's not operating after reinstalling, I'm going to be a wreck. Stay tuned.

Too Bright
There is something totally wrong about walking out my door first thing in the morning and having to wear sunglasses. It shouldn't be that bright at 6:30 a.m.! Of course, it's so shocking that, if I'm still half asleep, it forces me to wake up and become alert. Which is a good thing, considering I'm heading on the road and all.
Woo hoo, spring is here and the days are getting longer!!! I am so happy. LOL My two favorite seasons are upon us: spring and summer. Oh the glory days: Long days, warm days, progressing to hot days and warm nights. Happy dance! Happy dance!
Of course, this also means that I'll have to sit outdoors with Buddah. I can't have my indoor kitty roaming outside unattended. He's my boy and I have to "have his back" should intruders infiltrate our yard, like they did three years ago. Buddah was chased by two large dogs and cornered in our neighbors front porch. Thank God she came to his rescue!

Monday Madness
The following questions all begin with Where you live...
1. ...did you have to turn your clocks forward one hour this weekend? Yes. I've felt it all day, too!
2. ...what is the price of gasoline? I'm buying my gas at Costco where it costs $2.33.
3. ...which natural disasters, if any, do you have to worry about? Earthquakes, though, I've slept through most of them.
4. ...do you have a local newspaper, and if so, do you subscribe to it? No. I get my news on the Net. We did subscribe during the holidays only, but that got old real quick.
5. ...do you subscribe to a local cable company for television viewing? Yes, I'm a sucker for cable TV. I have to have my Court TV, A&E, Sundance and iFilm channels.
6. ...what is the speed limit on your road/street? 35 MPH
7. ...how far do you have to drive to the nearest post office? One mile.
8. ...what is the average temperature in April? Mid seventies.
9. ...what is the average temperature in December? Mid sixties.
10. ...are your four seasons drastically different from one another? No. I'm in southern California where we supposedly don't have seasons. Of course, ask any Californian and they'll tell you that we do.
