Scary News



I received some very alarming information at work yesterday. I was off last Friday so, I was "out of the loop".  A security guard told my partner in crime, that a woman was raped in the company's underground parking lot on Friday at 11:00 a.m. I can't explain exactly how I felt, only that I could identify fear, worry and a sense of loss that I no longer felt safe.



We've been at our present location for ten years and we've never had anything like this occur. I sometimes nap in my car during lunch, I will not be doing so anymore. Just last Tuesday I found a parking space in a location with no light and marveled at my find. I thought it the perfect spot for napping. I remembered my find this morning and thanked God for keeping me safe. I was very tired and sleepy during lunch today but I dared not sleep.
