During a Peace Walk over the weekend, I was appalled and disgusted by the number of participants walking in silence with their cell phones turned on! We're participating in a walk requiring no talking and silence. Where does one misunderstand no talking? How does one answer a cell phone without talking? Inquiring minds want to know.

This means I shouldn't hear vibration, ring tones from Nelly, Destiny's Child, Kid Rock, etc. It should be silent. It also means you should not read aloud text messages received. I really don't need to know how in demand you are. If you're that important, you should stay home - bound and tethered to your phone. We really could have done without your presence in a SILENT Peace Walk.

BTW, I hope you impressed yourself. Because, no one else was.
