Eagles Concert at Arrowhead Pond
So far it's been a busy and fun day. Boo took the day off and we accomplished a lot. We're all set for our final concert of 2005 - The Eagles. I'm excited and anxious and can't believe it's finally here. We've had the tix since like July or something and, though, hell's frozen twice for these guys, I'm hoping the entire gang's present tonight. No MIA's, please!
This will be a wonderful conclusion to a terrific day with one sad note: my 5.0 megapixel Canon S50 is in the shop. The selection dial options had rubbed off (ahem, a little too much use, me think!) and I was having to guess which setting was where. It's being shipped to Canada and the estimate is four to six weeks. As Boo reminds me, I have no luck, so likely it will be six weeks. I'm left with my old two megapixel Canon, which still works great.
In addition to replacing the dial, they're going to thoroughly clean it, check for and correct any other problems and calibrate it. The grand total will be $175, which believe me, I thought about and hesitated for a moment. Afterall, I could've applied that to the Canon S2 but, you know me, the S50's served me well and I can't retire it. I'll uh, just have to add to my collection!! LOL
