Ramblings
It's Buddah's birthday month and now that he has his gift, my recliner's been relegated to Thrift Store status. I've lost my scary movie partner and have no one to squeeze. That's so wrong of him! Watched The Shining last night, Boo slept through it, and the film holds up very well. It's been so long, I'd forgotten most of it, which made it all the scarier to watch. The film's score is magnificent and from the opening scene, you know it's going to be a dark, suspenseful journey.
I've had it with Apple's iTunes. I don't like how it manages podcasts and have erased all the downloads it stole off of iPodder's settings. I've done the best I can to ensure that iTunes knows it is not to search for or download podcasts. I will see. iTunes may have cornered the market for buying music online, but it needs a lot of work when it comes to podcasts. Its directory is sorely lacking and the way it categorizes, stores and plays my selections is sub par.
Where are all the houses decorated for Halloween? There's also a dearth of Halloween parties. I usually know of two parties and many co-workers who are attending parties. This year, no one I know is hosting and co-worker's have no plans. They have to resort to going to a club and paying beaucoup bucks for the privilege of dressing up and partying. What's happening?
Of course, there's always the big party in We-Ho, but who wants to park 1-1/2 miles from the venue, wade through 100,000 drunk and partially naked people to party with total strangers? Hmmmm, that's sounding like a plan!
