Instant Music

This vendor was demoing his heart out, as he tried to convince fair attendees to part with $50.00 and buy his Instant Music product.

With his product, I could easily and confidently rip my vinyl, cassettes or 8-Tracks (yep, he said even 8 Tracks) to MP3 or digital format for burning CDs or copying to my iPod. No one inquired how they'd play their 8 Tracks.

He attracted quite a crowd too. Fifteen or so, nestled three deep into his small area, observing his slides and listening to what were supposedly ripped samples of music stored on his notebook computer.

Alas, his spiel ended, the crowd dispersed and no one parted with $50.00. The white box (left side of photo) is what $50.00 would have bought me. The ads claimed As Seen on TV, but I'd never heard of it. Anyone??
