~ Closets. Those darn closets. They're like monsters. They suck things in and you never know where the hell they went!
~ Taking the antique wall sconce for repair and hoping it turns out half way decent.
~ "Oh so nice to see you again! Are you having the same thing you had last time?"
It's sad when the Thai restaurant owner greets us like old friends and remembers our last order.
~ "I cannot believe we've been here three times and continue to get lost. How is this possible!?"
In search of Sam's Club on a 103 degree day.
~ Sam's Club samples are the best. We had lunch by sampling what they had! LOL
~ "Why would I pay that when I could go to Office Depot and pay less?"
Boo: "O.D.'s having a sale and you didn't say anything?"
"Since last Sunday. They probably don't have anymore and I'm not driving all over the place looking for one!"
Boo: "Let's go. We're driving to Monrovia."
"Alright. But if they don't have it, then it wasn't meant to be and we forget about it. Agreed?"
Discussion pre-iPod purchase.
~ Yea Baby! I finally bought my hard drive MP3 player without planning. A rarity for me. I normally would have to research this and take two to three weeks to decide where to buy it. Thank you, Boo!
~ Unwrapping the iPod and feeling like a child let loose in a candy store. LOL
~ Ripping songs in iTunes and filling the iPod with music and podcasts. I've got to have my podcasts. So easy. So convenient. So, so slick!
~ Shopping Best Buy for a DVD/CD rack. It holds up to 330 mixed media and Boo's decided that we need to consolidate. At $99.00 it was within our budget and a hot item. The clerk told us we were the fourth purchase in a row.
~ I think it's too hot for folks to be shopping. We hit Target and walked away with everything we wanted and no waiting in line! How often does that happen?
~ Dining at Noodle Town where we've befriended the owner. She introduced us to fried banana Vietnamese style. It was the best fried banana I've ever tasted. A definite dessert item on our next visit.
I live in Southern California and live the digital lifestyle. I love technology, engage in social networks and thanks to the Amazon Kindle enjoy reading again. I listen to many podcasts and am interested in the paranormal. I don't go ghost hunting or anything like that, but I love reading, viewing and listening to a great fright!
