You know I talk about there being no accidents in the Universe. Everything happens for a reason. So this morning when we finally caught a break and opportunity to enjoy our Saturday, we seized the day!
The electrician was here at 8:30 this morning again because we didn't pass the inspection by the city. I know he received five fix it citations and did a lot of mumbling.
We're in 95 plus degree temps and he turned off all of our power. All of it. We sweltered for two hours and then celebrated that we will hopefully, not see him again! Off we went to Sam's Club to fill a prescription.
We ate lunch - yep, you got it - by sampling everything Sam's Club offered and they sell iPods. Only the Shuffles, the 4 gig model and the Bose speaker set. Boo inquired why didn't I buy the 4 gig and I said for the price they're asking I can buy a 20 gig.
The next thing I know, we're headed for an Office Depot office supply store. They're having a 20% discount on the 20 gig iPod. Mind you, this sale's been on since last Sunday. I tell Boo, if this location doesn't have it, then it's not meant to be and I'm not worrying about it.
We walk in, ask if they have any, I'm still standing at the entrance ready to exit and the gal says they have one. I got an iPod...woo hoo!...the last thing I expected to get not only today, of all days, but this entire year. Boo, this is my Christmas gift and I'm dead serious!
I'm off to read the manual and hook Cherry (yep, that's her name!) up to the computer. Uh oh, I've ripped music for my flash MP3 player in .wma files, so I now need to re-rip them to MP3 - doh! I'm a mess. LOL Ah well, not even this realization can get me down.
